Ingredients: 100% dried lime leaves.

Kaffir spice is a very popular ingredient in Asian cuisine. Lime leaves in combination with lemon grass, chili, ginger and galangal form the basis for the unique flavors of Thai cuisine.

The spice is used similarly to the Bay leaf. They add a distinct citrus flavor to food. Remove after cooking, or crush the leaf beforehand in a mortar and then leave it in the dish. You can also add crushed leaves to vegetable salads, black or green tea.
